Artículo No. 5.1: LA IMPEDANCIA DEL ESPACIO ES 377 Ω - I [Para su lectura optativa]

Es raro que lo hayan enviado con mi nombre, tal vez sea debido a los 6 artículos acerca de la Constante del Universo Observable ALFA, publicados mensualmente en mi blog, desde marzo hasta agosto 2026.  

Introducción: 

Primero definamos la IMPEDANCIA: En electricidad, es la resistencia que ofrece un medio conductor o semiconductor al paso de la corriente eléctrica alterna [que ya tiene un componente magnético] Cuando se trata de corriente continua se le llama sólo RESISTENCIA pues la corriente eléctrica continua no tiene la componente magnética.  

Expliquemos: Existe una ley de la naturaleza que dice: Todo campo elécrico variable, genera un campo magnético variable. Y todo campo magnético variable genera un campo eléctrico variable. La corriente alterna es variable - a diferencia de la corriente continua - que sí genera un campo magnético variable. A este fenómeno de la naturaleza se le conoce con el nombre INDUCCIÓN ELECTROMAGNÉTICA y es la causa de la propagación en el espacio de las ondas electromagnéticas, tales como la luz, las que llegan a tu televisor y muchas otras más. Es que existen ondas eléctricas y magnéticas que suceden, una tras otra, interminablemente, cada una generando a la otra. Es una explicación simple y elemental para aquellos legos en la materia.  

Por otro lado, dijimos que la Constante alfa del Universo Observable, tiene un valor exacto para que exista el Universo que conocemos y la VIDA misma. El dilema es entonces: ¿Acaso existe un–Supremo Hacedor-- de todo lo que existe o ese todo es casi producto de la casualidad, como finalmente explica la Teoría anticreacionista de Darwin? 

El tema de este artículo es otro que apunta casi verazmente hacía la existencia de El Supremo Hacedor.

¿Por qué el universo tiene una impedancia exacta de 377 Ω?

Este valor aparece directamente en las ecuaciones de Maxwell:

La interpretación ortodoxa considera estas constantes simplemente propiedades abstractas del vacío electromagnético. Sin embargo, desde una interpretación mecánica del universo, esta impedancia puede entenderse de una manera mucho más profunda: como la resistencia dinámica del propio sustrato físico del cosmos frente a la propagación ondulatoria. Porque una impedancia mecánica del Universo no es “nada”. 

En ingeniería, una impedancia aparece siempre que existe un medio capaz de almacenar, transmitir y oponerse parcialmente al flujo energético. Toda línea de transmisión, toda guía de ondas y todo material elástico posee una impedancia característica. 

Por tanto, el hecho de que el espacio tenga una impedancia perfectamente definida sugiere que el universo no se comporta como una nada geométrica absoluta, sino como un medio físico continuo con propiedades dinámicas.             

La interpretación mecánica: 

Si reinterpretamos las ecuaciones de Maxwell como ecuaciones efectivas de propagación en un medio continuo, entonces: 

[𝜀0] representa la capacidad del sustrato para almacenar deformación eléctrica,  mientras que 

[μ0] representa la  respuesta, inercial o magnética, frente a perturbaciones

transversales. 

La velocidad de propagación emerge entonces naturalmente como: 

y la impedancia universal queda determinada por el equilibrio entre elasticidad transversal e inercia efectiva del medio: 

Esto convierte al espacio físico en una estructura transmisora coherente, análoga a un medio elástico hiperrígido capaz de sostener ondas transversales extremadamente rápidas y estables. 

¿Por qué o para qué el valor es precisamente 377 Ω? [continúa después de la figura] 

Ese valor parece corresponder a un punto de equilibrio dinámico extremadamente preciso. 

Si la impedancia fuera mucho menor, el universo tendería a comportarse como un medio excesivamente conductor: las oscilaciones electromagnéticas no podrían estabilizar estructuras confinadas complejas. 

Si fuera mucho mayor, la propagación ondulatoria quedaría excesivamente amortiguada y el intercambio energético a gran escala sería extremadamente ineficiente. 

El valor observado parece representar un estado crítico de transmisión estable entre confinamiento y propagación. 

La gran pregunta es: 

La pregunta importante ya no es únicamente: 

“¿Cómo se propaga la luz?” 

sino: 

“¿Qué tipo de estructura física debe poseer el universo para exhibir exactamente una impedancia característica universal?” 

La existencia de un valor tan preciso y universal continúa siendo uno de los indicios más sugestivos de que el cosmos podría comportarse como un medio físico estructurado y no como un vacío geométrico completamente pasivo. 

Pregunta válida, por cierto: ¿Quién o qué lo ESTRUCTURÓ con ese valor tan especial para nosotros y el Universo?

Si el vacío fuese un poco más conductivo o fuese un poco más aislante, entonces NO existirían estrellas que ver. Más aún: 

--La impedancia es exactamente 377 Ω. Para que exista el Universo y todo ¿Es una coincidencia? 

--Alfa es 1/137, si cambiase aún un poquito, la química colapsaría. ¿Es una coincidencia también?

It was very strange that my first name appeared there, so, I thought about it as a comment since I published 5 articles about the Observable Universe Fundamental Constant Alpha, during five consecutive months, from March to July 2026. 

Introduction: 

First, let us define what IMPEDANCE is: In electricity refers to the resistance of any medium against the alternating electricity flows [Alternating electricity has a magnetic component, whereas continues electricity doesn’t have it, and in this case is called just RESISTORS] 

Let me explain it: 

There is a Nature’s law that says: “Any variable electric field generates a variable magnetic field, and any variable magnetic field generates a variable electric field.  This phenomenon is called ELECTROMAGNETIC INDUCTION which is the cause for the propagation of any electromagnetic waves, such as light, the waves to come to your TV set and many more of them. 

The fact is that both types of waves generate the other type of wave, one after another continuously. This is a simple and easy explanation to lay people in the matter.  

On the other hand, I said that ALPHA, a constant of the Observable Universe, has an almost exact value favorable to our existence as well as of the Universe as we know it, telling us that a SUPREME ENTITY created everything, from visible to invisible things. The dilemma then is: Is there such a DIVINE GOD, or all was just created by chance and causality as Darwinian’s theory tells us? He wasn’t capable of answering clearly how abiogenesis came at all? Nothing understandable has been said about it till nowadays. 

This article is another one that is certainly towards a DIVINE GOD.  

Let me repeat that the artificial intelligence Meta Ai said: It is more scientific to believe in the existence of a SUPREME CREATOR than to be atheist without any prof’  

Why does the universe have an exact impedance of 377 Ω? 

Modern physics recognizes an extraordinary experimental fact: empty space has a characteristic impedance of exactly: 

[Z0 ≈ 376.73 Ω]

This value appears directly in Maxwell's equations:

[μ0] is the magnetic permeability of the vacuum  

[ε0] Is the electric permittivity of the vacuum 

The orthodox interpretation considers these constants simply as abstract properties of the electromagnetic vacuum.   

But from a mechanical interpretation of the Universe, this impedance can be understood much more deeply: “as the dynamic resistance of the very physical substrate of the cosmos to wave propagation” 

Because its impedance is not "nothing." 

In engineering, impedance only appears when there is a medium capable of  

storing, transmitting, and partially opposing the flow of energy. Every transmission line, every waveguide, every elastic material has a characteristic impedance. 

Therefore, the fact that space has a perfectly defined impedance suggests that the Universe does not behave like absolute geometric nothingness, but like a continuous physical medium with measurable dynamic properties. 

The mechanical interpretation: 

If we reinterpret Maxwell's equations as effective propagation equations in a continuous medium, then: 

[ε0] represents the capacity that the substrate store electrical deformation, whereas  

[μ0] represents its inertial or magnetic response to transverse disturbances.

And the universal impedance is determined by the balance between transverse elasticity and effective inertia of the medium: 

This turns physical space into a coherent transmitting structure, analogous to a hyper-rigid elastic medium capable of sustaining extremely fast and stable transverse waves. 

Why is the value exactly 377 Ω? [Please read it after the figure] 

That value seems to correspond to an extremely precise point of dynamic equilibrium. 

If the impedance were much smaller, the universe would behave like an excessively conductive medium: electromagnetic oscillations could not stabilize complex confined structures.   

If it were much larger, wave propagation would be excessively damped and large-scale energy exchange would be extremely inefficient. 

The observed value appears to represent a critical state of stable transmission between confinement and propagation. 

The big question: 

Much more: The important question is no longer just:   

"How does light propagate?" 

But rather:  

"What kind of physical structure must the universe possess to exhibit exactly a universal characteristic impedance?" 

The existence of such a precise and universal value remains one of the most suggestive clues that the cosmos might behave like a structured physical medium, and not like a completely passive geometric vacuum.
